Mountain Region Business Economic Summit (MRBES)
Driven by an educated workforce and diverse economy, Denver ranks No. 1 for the second year in a row according to Forbes. The Denver-Aurora-Lakewood metro area, home to 2.8 million people, is attractive for its improving economy, highly skilled labor force and outdoor recreational opportunities. Companies are increasingly choosing Denver as the site for new operations or to relocate entirely. In addition to the designation by Forbes, Money Magazine cites the Mile High City as the number one place to live. It is an exciting time to be in Denver. However, there are large and persistent racial disparities in financial literacy for minority families and performance for minority and women owned businesses. To address these issues, we are honored to present the MRBES Success Summit.
Since 2005, the Mountain Region Business Economic Summit (MRBES), a non-profit organization, has partnered with local and national companies to produce the only Economic Empowerment Conference of its kind in the Rocky Mountain Region. The MRBES Success Summit brings together various financial, personal and business resources to a day-long conference designed to strengthen our communities through promoting economic self-sufficiency for Colorado’s economically disadvantaged people.
